After the Expansion Draft, it was expected that there would be rumors surrounding the players picked. After Chris Duvall was traded to the Montreal Impact for Julio Venegas, there was a quiet rumor that Portland had contacted Minnesota about goalkeeper, Jeff Attinella.
Jeff Attinella is seen as a possible starter in the league. Portland is likely in need of a keeper after Jake Gleeson’s recent arrest on suspision of DUI. This rumor has been slowly gaining steam throughout the week. As reported by FiftyFive. One today and confirmed by Sam Stejskal, Portland is indeed interested.
Can confirm that Portland are interested in Attinella. Been working on something since shortly after the Expansion Draft. https://t.co/y0kCxQwwoU
