Minnesota United Announces Season and Home Openers

MNUFC will make MLS debut in Portland, and have home opener against fellow expansion team Atlanta United

Minnesota United FC announced two games of their inaugural season in MLS this morning. They will open in Portland, taking on the Portland Timbers on March 3rd at Providence Park. A little over a week later, the team will make its home debut at their temporary home, TCF Bank Stadium, on March 12th at 4pm CST against the Atlanta United.

The rest of the schedule is to be released in January.

Taking a look at the weather, the historical average low and high temperature in Minneapolis on March 12th is 23° and 39°F (according to Accuweather.com). Though last year, Minneapolis experienced a record high temperature on that day: 70°F. The record low for March 12th is -8°F in 1956.
