Minnesota United Acquires an Extra SuperDraft pick from Chicago

The Loons traded one draft pick for another draft pick

MLS: SuperDraft Bill Streicher-USA TODAY Sports

The day has been a busy one for Minnesota’s front office. They have acquired another second round pick and General Allocation Money.

United sent their #2 spot in the Player Allocation Rankings to the Chicago Fire for Chicago’s 2017 Second Round Pick in the SuperDraft, Chicago’s #3 spot in the Player Allocation Ranking, and some General Allocation Money from the Fire.

Chicago acquired Juninho, so the Loons #3 Player Allocation Ranking is back to a #2 spot.

To sum up, remember now that Minnesota United now holds the first, 23rd, and 25th picks in the upcoming SuperDraft.
