The pick is in!
It was an energetic scene on the floor of the 2017 MLS SuperDraft Friday morning as all 22 MLS teams, coaches, front office staff, players, parents, and supporters groups gathered in the LA Convention Center.
After a morning filled with rumors, denials, and non-statements, Minnesota United’s time finally came as they took the first overall pick in the draft.
The Loons picked Abu Dunladi out of UCLA. The Ghanaian born forward was considered one of the best prospects in the draft.
