The Loons roster building effort continued over the weekend with the addition of a dynamic midfielder.
Minnesota United have invited midfielder Andrew Tinari to join the team’s training camp in Arizona, according to the Columbia University Athletics website.
Tinari went undrafted in the 2017 MLS SuperDraft a week ago but maintained interest from several MLS teams after the event.
During his collegiate career, Tinari notched three first-team All-Ivy honors. During his senior campaign, the Holbrook, N.Y. native appeared in all but one game. Over four years he appeared in 62 of 64 games, an impressive show of consistency.
Tinari studied architecture at Columbia.
