Superman may be getting his shot.
The United States Men’s National Team released their preliminary roster ahead of the upcoming November friendly against Portugal. Finally, Christian Ramirez is getting his shot. Obviously, the preliminary roster is exactly what it sounds like, but it is still exciting for Ramirez to be considered.
The game may be meaningless, but at least the USMNT are going about it the right way. Giving the chance to players like Matt Miazga, Weston McKennie, and Jonathan Gonzalez is the perfect approach to this match while trying to get over the painful loss to Trinidad & Tobago.

And hey, at least there’s a chance they may have a Superman on their side. More details to follow when the final roster is released.
