Watch: Binge All 12 Videos From United’s Arizona Preseason Camp

Can’t wait for the regular season? Catch up on drills, friendlies, and team bonding from Arizona.

This is an awkward time of year for USMNT and Minnesota United fans alike.

The USMNT just finished slogging through its first two friendlies under new head coach Bruce Arena as they gear up for critical World Cup qualifying matches in the months to come.

Meanwhile, the United faithful are still a month away from cheering on our Loons against the Portland Timbers in our regular season opener.

Now, before you give up and settle for rewatching all eight seasons of Scrubs (we don’t speak of season nine on this blog...), consider reliving the glory of Minnesota’s preseason camp in Arizona instead.

I’ve compiled all the must-see video content from the Arizona preseason camp in on convenient, bingeable list.


Day 2: The “wait, we can shoot in slow motion?” edition.

Day 3: The “holy crap, guys, we can shoot loads of slow mo!” edition.

Day 4: Collen Warner seems like an all-around great guy as he narrates this look at passing drills.

Day 5: That new MLS ball is looking mighty fine, ladies and gentlemen.

Highlights: Inter-squad match

Day 7: The “When in doubt, slow-mo it out” edition.

Day 8: Heath looks like a boss as he oversees passing and shooting drills.

Highlights: Minnesota United vs. New England Revolution

Day 10: Despite an early rebuke from Orlando, Minnesota were able to get their man. Kevin Molino makes his first appearance on training camp video today.

Day 11: We’ve got a starting keep! John Alvbage joins the squad on today’s video.

Highlights: Minnesota United vs. Club Istra

The Croatian side has been Ising The Croatian side has been putting up strong performances against other MLS teams in the preseason. United had a solid day on the pitch as the club drew 1-1 against Istra.

All in all, huge props to United’s video team for giving us great footage from training and friendlies in the desert. It’ll be fun to see what they can do with a frenzied crowd at TCF Bank Stadium in a month.
