In an expected but still stinging blow, Minneapolis City SC is officially out of this year’s U.S. Open Cup.
After making an offseason jump to NPSL, the club was informed the league change would disqualify them from this year’s U.S. Open Cup. They appealed but USSF’s Competitions Committee confirmed the DQ.
Never ones to take a hit and stay down, City unveiled a glorious commemorative shirt following the federation’s decision.
