It’s happening. It’s really happening. At 8:30 pm on this Friday, Minnesota United play their first-ever regular season MLS match. What a time to be alive.
The inaugural match will be shown on FS1 and FSGo. Since it’s a nationally televised game, it will be blacked out on MLS Live. However, should you for some reason miss the match, you can watch a replay on there the next day.
This first game is something that a lot of us have been looking forward to for a very long time. If you want to get together with some other United fans and enjoy this momentous occasion, we’ve got you covered. Here are some of the watch parties going on:
Dark Clouds Watch Party
The Dark Clouds are Minnesota’s oldest supporters group, having been founded in 2004 and named after the Minnesota Thunder. They are holding their watch party at The Nomad, which is located off Cedar Ave near the U of M West Bank campus.
We've got Surly products on special at our Friday @NomadPubMpls watch party including the new UNITED CRUSHERS! Dets: https://t.co/8uiggG4EXd pic.twitter.com/FoIawJfuQG

Their party will be starting at 7:30 pm. There will be a food truck in addition to $3 Surly Hell specials. You can also get a half-order of fries for $2.
Update: The Mankato Dark Clouds will be hosting an “official unofficial” watch party at the Mankato Buffalo Wild Wings* as well!
