Trialist centerback Abdoulaye Diallo is no longer with Minnesota United, according to a report from the Star Tribune’s Megan Ryan.

"No, he's not with us anymore," Heath told the Star Tribune. "We decided against doing something with him. So we will see where we go from here."

Diallo has practiced with the team for nearly a month.

Centerback remains one area to keep an eye on for a team that struggled desperately on defense early in the year.

One thing that never worked in Diallo’s favor was his international status. International slots are a precious commodity on the Loons, especially considering they have not signed a DP yet, a move that would likely demand an international slot itself.

Ryan also noted that Ibson has been approved for a green card, a critical announcement that will mean he will no longer occupy one of the team’s precious international slots.
