This loan spell looks to be fruitful for the young center back. Greenspan has played every minute of the six games he has started for the Riverhounds. Along the way, he has made 37 clearances and 14 tackles, with a tackling accuracy of 84%.
The towering defender is gaining valuable experience in the USL, which will serve him well when he comes back to Minnesota. Manager Adrian Heath has said that he plans to recall Greenspan before the Loons start their Open Cup campaign in June.
With defender Francisco Calvo likely be gone for much of July while he plays for Costa Rica in the Gold Cup, Greenspan may be getting some serious minutes with the first team when he returns.
