The beautiful game covers the globe with clubs popping up in nearly every place imaginable. Some of those clubs are weird, and some of their mascots are weirder.
In the spirit of the NCAA basketball tournament, or March Madness, we’re setting up a bracket of our own: with 32 soccer/football mascots pitted against each other in a knockout-style competition.
Here’s how it’ll work:
There will be four “regions” for mascots: Major League Soccer East, MLS West, Football League, and Rest of the World. Voting for each region will be open for 48 hours. How can you vote? It’s easy—the polls will be embedded into each of our articles for the region. You’ll only be able to vote once, so you’ll have to enlist your friends and family to vote as well.
The first region will open on Friday, March 16th at noon (CT). Until then, be prepared for some weird.
