The Loons resumed training today in preparation for their match against the 1-1-0 Los Angeles Galaxy. Darwin Quintero, Romain Métanire, and Ozzie Alonso all received MLS team of the week honors from their performances in MNUFC’s 3-0 win over the San Jose Earthquakes. Adrian Heath was absent from training today due to dental procedure. Collin Martin, Dayne Saint Clair, Wyatt Omsberg, and Carter Manley have all returned from USL affiliate Forward Madison FC and were full participants in today’s session. Ozzie Alonso was not in attendance for an undisclosed reason. Bobby Shuttleworth left practice early due to a hand injury sustained during drills, the injury did not appear to be severe or of any major concern.

Looking ahead to the upcoming international break, Gregg Berhalter released his roster for the upcoming USMNT matches against Ecuador and Chile. Miguel Ibarra did not receive the call up he was hoping for. Jan Gregus will be joining the Slovakian national team for their upcoming EURO qualifiers. Romario Ibarra has been called up for Ecuador’s matches against the US and Honduras. Costa Rica has not released a roster for their upcoming matches but it is assumed that Francisco Calvo will be selected to take on Guatemala and Jamaica. Finland has two EURO qualifiers during the break and it is still unknown if Rasmus Schuller will get a call up. Its worth noting that former Loon Christian Ramirez was called up to the upcoming USMNT matches.
