Minnesota United forward Mason Toye has been named MLS Player of the Week for Week 26 of the 2019 season.
Toye scored two goals en route to the Loons shocking 2-0 road victory of Supporters Shield and Western Conference leaders LAFC on Sunday night.
Mason Toye’s first goal on Sunday came on a pass from Jan Gregus down the right side of the box. After receiving the pass Toye cut inside towards the 6 taking a shot from the far side of the 6 that went straight into the opposite side of the goal.
