Allianz Field is one of the top places to watch a soccer match in the US. But it has more than just great sight-lines, it has great food, too.

Allianz Field opened in 2019 to great praise. Its mesh outer-layer with LED lights are beautiful, and the interior is just as stunning. Minnesota United has strived for Allianz Field to be something more than just a beautiful stadium — a beautiful experience.

Minnesota United’s front office preaches improvement. Each year the team should be growing both on and off the field. One way the team is growing this year is the concessions inside Allianz Field.

Eric Sampson, the general manager for Delaware North at Allianz Field, speaks of how the food inside the stadium is a way to showcase both the community in Minnesota and worldwide.

Despite the desire to eat everything at the stadium, the reality of families and sporting events is that it gets expensive. So here are the definitive top 3 foods to buy at Allianz Field this year.

Number 1 on the list has to be the Mongolian Pork Shoulder. This is the powerhouse, it will give you energy even through the dying seconds of the game. The pork shoulder will have plenty of meat, but it is not to distract from the fish sauce and pickles with it.

Number 2 has to be the MNI Churros. These are classic, cinnamon Churro sticks that are sturdy. These will surely be less pricey than most dishes and come with a decent number of Churro sticks.

And finally, number 3 is the Irish Nachos. Allianz Field puts a bit of a twist on a stadium classic with smoked brisket on top of French Fries, all with Queso and Jalapenos to finish it off.

Overall the food experience at Allianz Field is incredibly unique. Having a soccer-specific stadium has meant much greater freedom for concessions, such as the brew hall. Next time your our at the stadium, try something new — they even will be rotating different types of BBQs and sandwiches every couple of months.
