A few bits of news to end the week.
- University of MN soccer coach Stefanie Golan has taken the head coaching job at the University of Missouri. After nine seasons in charge at Minnesota Golan leaves with a 92-64-24 record, while also leading the Gophers to one Big Ten regular season title, two Big Ten tournament championships and four NCAA tournaments. In his statement announcing her move, Minnesota AD Mark Coyle also said that a national search to replace Golan is already under way.
- MNUFC have loaned goalkeeper Adrian Zendejas to El Paso Locomotive FC of the USL Championship. After loaning goalkeeper Logan Ketterer to the Portland Timbers, Locomotive quickly signed Benjamin Beaury and Zendejas as possible replacements.
- Minneapolis City SC head across both rivers on Saturday to play La Crosse Aris FC, but it won’t be in La Crosse rather a small town almost an hour North.
