Reynoso out of All Star Game

Just under 36 hours ago the Pioneer Press’ Andy Greder reported that Emanuel Reynoso, MNUFC’s only representative to the MLS All Star Game, will be out of the match. Reynoso has picked up plenty of knocks and dings in the past two matches, including drawing two red cards for tackles on him in each of the last two matches.

“It’s every week. Every week. It’s let’s have a gang up. You do it first. I’ll do it second. You do it third. People can complain. Stats are there. Every week. Talk about protection of big-time players in the league. I’m not about sounding off, by the way. I’m more about in general. If you look at the game,” Heath said following Saturday’s match.

Jackson loaned to North Carolina FC

In addition to the Reynoso news, MNUFC have loaned out midfielder Aziel Jackson to USL League One side North Carolina FC. The 19 year old Homegrown Player was acquired from the New York Red Bulls in April. Jackson has not made an appearance for Minnesota United since joining in April. Prior to coming to MNUFC he had youth spells with New York Red Bulls Academy, Toulouse FC, and Crossfire FC. He then trained with the Sounders during the 2020 season.

The last piece of big news is Minnesota United’s match against the Colorado Rapids, initially scheduled for October 9th at 7 PM has been moved. The match will now take place on October 10th at 4 PM with it now airing on National TV on ESPN at 4 PM.
