After last years Major League Soccer All Star Game was postponed due to COVID-19 this year the annual match returns, albeit with a new twist. Unlike the past 15 seasons a team from Europe will not come over to face the MLS All Stars, rather Liga MX will send their All Star Team north to face the MLS.

And for the fourth straight All Star Game, Minnesota United will send a single player to the MLS All Star Game. With Emmanuel Reynoso representing the black and blue in 2021. Minnesota’s 25 year old DP will make his first appearance in the match the first time he is able too. Reynoso has made a total of 28 appearances and started 23 of those. Reynoso has 3 goals and 12 assists in regular season play with the Loons.

Last year in the MLS Cup Playoffs he achieved one goal and seven assists, including three each in back to back playoff games. That achievement was an MLS Cup Playoffs first.

The match will take place on Wednesday, August 25th from Banc of California Stadium in Los Angeles, CA. Kickoff time is set for 7 PM CT with the match airing on FS1 and Univision in the United States.
