There were high hopes for another three points at home for the Loons as they hosted FC Cincinnati. Dayne St. Clair made some more crucial saves to keep MNUFC in the mix to improve on their points tally. However, in the final minute of stoppage time the visitors sealed a win as Brandon Vazquez found the back of the net.
Next up for the Loons is the Colorado Rapids on Wednesday night at Allianz Field. This will be Minnesota's second game in the 2022 US Open Cup where the Loons will play the fellow MLS side in the Round of 32.
