First and foremost I want to apologize about a lack of Forward Madison coverage due to COVID-19. But today we’re bringing you a new segment called ‘Mingo Mondays where we detail all the FMFC news from the past week, or in this case months.
First up back in May the club unveiled their new “Drip” kit as the alternate for 2020. And personally I think it’s even better than last seasons.
This jersey goes #FullMingo.

USL League One also announced their return to play back on July 2nd with an initially planned 20 game schedule with the top two teams advancing to the league finals. Six days later than plan was blown up when Toronto FC II dropped out of the league for the season. On the 9th Forward Madison announced they would play their home games out of Hart Park in the Milwaukee suburb of Wauwatosa.
Home is where the Hart is.

With full-contact sports still not allowed in Dane County, Forward Madison will play at Hart Park in @WauwatosaWI in order to participate in the USL League One season. pic.twitter.com/dun2v0gpZa
The ‘Mingos aren’t the only team to have used Hart Park as the Milwaukee Torrent have used it as their home ground since 2017.
On the 10th, USL League One announced their opening day matches; but not the entire schedule or even past the first week. And that only contained two matches.
Match Day One is set. @Tormenta_FC @RichmondKickers @FTLauderdaleCF @GVLTriumph

It would be the 16th when the USL announced each teams home openers and the 17th before announcing a revamped 16 match schedule. Each team will face everyone else at least once with the top two teams after the end of the schedule advancing directly to the USL League One Final. You can see Forward Madison’s full schedule below.
Sixteen games. Two playoff spots. One @USLLeagueOne champion.
