Due to COVID-19 Forward Madison FC spent the 2020 season at Hart Park in Wauwatosa, WI, a stadium that hosts the NPSL’s Milwaukee Torrent. However after a full season away the Flamingos will make their return next weekend against North Carolina FC. And they’ll make their first appearance not only against a former USL Championship side but also in brand new threads.

Just like the past few seasons the kit is mainly light blue with a white sash going from the left shoulder to the right side. New for 2021 are the dark blue shoulders, chevron pattern featuring FMFC letters.

“It’s an homage to Madison,” jersey designer Cassidy Sepnieski, said. “Last season we didn’t get to play at home, so this is part of the way we’re welcoming fans back and restarting some of the traditions that were put on pause for a year.”

But before the ‘Mingos official return to Breese Stevens Field they’ll have an away match this Saturday night against FC Tucson. Tucson comes into this weekends match 0-1 on the season after a loss to South Georgia Tormenta last week at Erk Russell Park in Statesboro, GA. This will serve as Carl Craig’s official debut leading the Flamingos after Madison defeated the Bavarian Soccer Club of Milwaukee 4-0 in a friendly last weekend.

This weekend’s match will kick off at 9 PM CT and can be seen on ESPN+.
