After multiple matches and weeks down numerous players due to injuries or suspensions, Minnesota United made a return to an almost normal roster last night against the LA Galaxy. Both Robin Lod and Emanuel Reynoso returned to the roster from injury while Chase Gasper and Ozzie Alonso came back after serving a one match suspension for yellow card accumulation.

Reynoso made his return known right out of the gate with a fourth minute goal from nearly 25 yards.

In the 20th minute Reynoso struck again with one hell of a goalazo from outside the box.

After struggling to score in the past few matches and on Wednesday also failing to stop the opposition from scoring the Loons held a 2-0 lead over LA Galaxy after 45 minutes. Minnesota was not done scoring at that point as in the 66th minute Ethan Finlay scored the Loons third goal of the evening.

After 90 minutes, three goals, and none allowed, MNUFC took three points against a team they had never defeated before. Minnesota will be back on the pitch next Saturday night against the Houston Dynamo for a 7 PM kickoff at Allianz Field.
